It became a regular on CBS that same year in the fall. It's interesting to note that the regular series on CBS started before the summer series ended on ABC. Note that show 13 is listed after show 14 on the list below, to keep the ABC Summer series together. Howard Duff played the title spot for the regular series and stayed with it through a move to NBC on September 25, 1949. The title spot changed to Steve Dunne on November 17, 1950 and he remained the voice of Sam Spade until the last broadcast on April 25, 1951. Log Comments: Many of these shows are lost. Thanks to Jerry Haendiges' log and reader feedback, an almost complete log was possible. There were a few shows where more than one title was found. The most common found is used first. All others are listed below the primary title as alternates. There is one exception to that. The show of September 25, 1949 is titled "Chargo Gagog Mancho Gagog Chabuna". Sam has trouble pronouncing it in the introduction and shortens it to "The Indian Caper". I've listed it as an alternate title.
